If only we had a Sony Vita when I was a kid. When I was little, my Dad would hog our Sega Mega Drive. In fact, the only way to get a look in was either a) to play against him, whereupon his competitive nature would usually get the best of him and he would mercilessly destroy you or b) get up before he did and play very early in the morning. Needless to say I endured more than a few early starts growing up. Purchasing the machine ostensibly 'for the kids' he soon changed his tune once he discovered the addictive joys of early Sega classics such as Sonic 2, Street Fighter and Golden Axe. In fact, the situation eventually got so bad that on at least two occasions my Dad burst into the living room, glaring angrily at me and my brother in mid game and demanded that we clean our bedroom, which was, we were assured, in a filthy and disgusting state of anarchic disarray. As we dutifully (and fearfully) scurried upstairs to correct this egregious oversight, only to find about three toys on the floor (that, for the record, I don't remember putting there!) we would return downstairs to find our family patriarch about three levels in on 'Streets Of Rage'. At once the penny would drop, and, as our protests fell on deaf ears, we knew we'd been had. For my Dad, PlayStation warfare stretched beyond the games and onto the battlefield of real life. Its an addiction that never went away, today my Dad still spends an inordinate amount of time glued to his PS3, absorbed by the Assassin's Creed series, or the latest Madden NFL.Anyway, I did have a point. This constant domination of our computer games led me to request a Nintendo Game Boy for my birthday, thinking that it would provide all the thrills and fun of the Mega Drive, with none of the parental rank-pulling power play. The machine in question arrived in bright red, the colour I requested (my mostly hard-up parents had spared no expense, perhaps motivated by subconscious guilt on my Father's part) and my Mum had handcrafted me a beautiful carry case (with game cartridge slots) for the machine. Upon excitedly firing up this new console, I was disappointed by the tiny black sketches that made up the 'Mortal Kombat' and 'Killer Instinct' characters. It would be several years before Pokemon re-created my neglected Game Boy in the image of bestest friend in the whole wide world. I know what you're thinking; 'just how old are you?' well, to put it one way, there's a portrait in my attic that's not getting any prettier as the years go on...Tomorrow's children will not face the same fate, as today's portable games consoles are simply stunning. The Sony Vita, picking up where the highly praised PSP left off, is one such device. With an array of quality games as long as your arm (assuming you're a relative of Reed Richards), the Sony Vita is the Game Boy concept taken to its absolute, 21st century zenith point. The Sony Vita also allows you to check your emails, Facebook and even chat to friends via Skype. How's that for a bonus? The Sony Vita is superbly named, taken from the Latin word for 'life', which is appropriate, as the Sony Vita is one of the only consoles equipped to accompany you through it. Neatly fitting into rucksacks, pockets, hand luggage and handbags, the Sony Vita offers superb, console-quality gaming in a portable package, of a kind that only my childhood imagination could have conjured up.Authentic Titans Matt Hasselbeck Jersey, Colts Jeff Saturday Authentic Jersey, Official Seattle Seahawks Jersey, Seahawks Sidney Rice Jersey, Redskins Santana Moss Jersey, Redskins DeAngelo Hall Jersey, Colts Jersey, Authentic Tennessee Titans Jersey, wholesale nfl jerseys free shipping, Texans Jersey, Authentic Washington Redskins Jersey

It seems quite likely that Broncos QB Tim Tebow has played his way into a starting job. But if that's the case, it won't become official before Tuesday."I'd say there is a strong likelihood that we will address that tomorrow," said coach John Fox on Monday, explaining no announcement will be forthcoming until he talks to his players, including Tebow and incumbent QB Kyle Orton. The team is off today as the Broncos enter their bye week at 1-4. But with an extra week to prepare Tebow, a 2010 first-rounder selected by previous coach Josh McDaniels, the timing is logical for a switch. It was telling that Fox didn't offer the steadfast support that he's typically afforded Orton all season, though he said no decision has yet been made on who the starter is moving forward. After entering Sunday's game at halftime -- his first action under center this season -- with the Broncos trailing the Chargers 23-10, Tebow nearly led a comeback in a game Denver ultimately lost 29-24. He threw one TD pass, ran for another score, and his final dramatic pass fell just incomplete in the end zone."I think a lot is made out of the quarterback position. No doubt that did spark our team, but as you looked around, there were a lot of different guys making plays whether it was a screen pass for a touchdown, a great catch to give us a chance to throw it in the end zone in the end," said Fox while addressing the fans' postgame chants of "Tebow, Tebow.""We made a couple big stops on defense, not as big as what we needed at one point, but I thought it encouraged the whole team. I'm sure the fans saw that."Tebow could vastly alter the identity of the offense if he takes the reins."I think he's the most mobile of our quarterbacks, but that doesn't really define him as a quarterback or his skill set and the different things he does; but he does bring that dimension, and that's kind of obvious," said Fox.Tebow started three games in 2010, winning once. His raw passing skills are evident, yet he often seems to make dramatic plays.Playing him now would seem to give the Broncos a much better idea if he's their answer going forward, or if they need to go in a different direction in 2012 and beyond. If nothing else, the fan base will be placated if he plays.Orton and Brady Quinn will both be free agents in 2012."You evaluate everything," said Fox."When you make decisions in your heart and your mind, it's what's best for the football team. So whatever direction we go, that will be the number one thing in mind."

Qualifiers: the Milwaukee Bucks have more than 40 years of history, so players should have at least two seasons with the team. Also, players will be classified under one position even if they played at more than one.Sidney Moncrief: The winner of the NBAs first two Defensive Player of the Year awards, Sidney Moncrief was Milwaukees top player in the 1980s. Though often underrated today, Moncrief went to five straight All-Star Games from 1982 to 1986 as one of the leagues most impressive two-way players. He led the Bucks to the playoffs in each of his ten seasons with the team while averaging 16.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 88 postseason contests. Moncrief ranks third in Bucks history with 11,594 points and his 2,689 assists are second only to Paul Pressey in the teams books.Ray Allen(notes):Current Boston Celtics shooting guard Ray Allen kicked off his career with the Milwaukee Bucks in 1996. Allen, a ten-time All-Star, earned his first three All-Star selections with Milwaukee. Before he became the NBAs three-point shooting king, Allen set the Bucks franchise record with 1,051 three-point baskets. He averaged 19.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists over 494 games with his first franchise. Through 15 seasons in the league, Allens career totals include 22,286 points, 3,974 assists, 1,281 steals and 2,612 threes.Michael Redd(notes):All-Star shooting guard Michael Redd has been a member of the Bucks since joining the team in the second round of the 2000 NBA Draft. Redd followed in Allens footsteps as the Bucks sharpshooting hot scoring guard. He averaged 23.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists over his first six seasons as a starter before injuries began to torment him in 2009. In limited 2011 action, Redd became the second Buck to hit 1,000 three-pointers. Through 11 seasons, he has 11,554 points with a career average of 20.0 per game.Brian Winters:Two-time All-Star shooting guard Brian Winters spent eight of his nine NBA seasons with the Bucks from 1975 to 1983. Winters was acquired under less than ideal conditions in the trade that sent Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to the Los Angeles Lakers, but he went on to have an excellent career in Milwaukee that culminated in the retirement of his number 32 jersey. Winters averaged 16.7 points, 4.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 582 games in Milwaukee.Alvin Robertson:Four-time All-Star guard Alvin Robertson played four seasons in Milwaukee from 1989 to 1993. Robertson won a Defensive Player of the Year award and four All-Defensive team spots with the San Antonio Spurs before joining the Bucks and earning two more All-Defensive honors. He averaged 12.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.7 steals in 283 games with the Bucks. His three full seasons in Milwaukee yielded the three highest single-season steals totals in Bucks history including the record 246 in 1990-91. With 2.7 per game, Robertson owns the highest career steals per game average in NBA history.Sources:Milwaukee Bucks Franchise Index, Basketball-Reference.comMore from this contributor:Milwaukee Bucks top five point guardsLos Angeles Lakers top five centersHouston Rockets top five shooting guardsGolden State Warriors top five power forwardsChicago Bulls top five small forwardsNote: This article was written by a Yahoo! contributor. Berrian(notes) was a surprise healthy scratch for theMinnesota Vikings on Sunday against Arizona, the first time in his career thereceiver has not played in a game for a reason other than injury.Berrian has just two catches for 37 yards this season despite playing moresnaps than any other Vikings receiver over their first four games. He also wrote on Twitter during a rant after last weeks loss to Kansas Citythat hes been open for the past four years but hasnt gotten the ball. Coach Leslie Frazier said he left Berrian on the inactive list for anunspecified disciplinary reason, but not because of his critical comments or anyhealth-related issue.Just looking at the bigger picture about what we have to get done as afootball team. Thats not to say itll continue to be this way, but there weresome things that we needed to get done that had to be done, said Frazier, whoalso held starting cornerback Cedric Griffin(notes) out of the first series aspunishment for an unspecified transgression.Frazier spoke with Berrian earlier in the week after the receiver got in aTwitter spat with a Minnesota state representative who also happens to be a bigsupporter of the teams drive for a new stadium.Berrian took exception to Rep. John Kriesel poking fun at him after the22-17 loss at Kansas City last week, but Berrian did not know Kriesel was astate lawmaker during the interaction.Kriesel took responsibility for starting the spat and Berrian said heplanned to call and apologize. But perhaps more damaging for Berrian was hisresponse to a fans statement that he saw Berrian open at least five timesagainst the Chiefs.Been like that the last four years, Berrian wrote back.Berrian has largely been a disappointment ever since signing a six-year, $42million contract, that included $16 million in guaranteed money in 2008.He restructured the deal to remain with the team before this season, buthasnt been able to connect with Donovan McNabb(notes) to give the Vikings thedownfield threat they sorely need.Berrian missed five games (thumb) in 2005 and one game (rib) in 2006 withChicago and two games (groin) last season with Minnesota, but this was the firstnon-injury absence of his eight-year career. Also missing for the Vikings was cornerback Antoine Winfield(notes) (neck), anabsence which was expected after he missed practice all week and was listed asdoubtful on the injury report.Asher Allen(notes) took advantage of the extra playing time and had an interceptionand helped bring down running back Beanie Wells(notes) in the backfield on fourth-and-1on the final play of the third quarter near midfield.Wide receiver Percy Harvin(notes) (ribs) and defensive ends Jared Allen(notes) (eye) andBrian Robison(notes) (abdomen) each got hurt during the game, but they were able toreturn after brief absences for the Vikings. For the Cardinals, tight end Todd Heap(notes) (hamstring), punter Dave Zastudil(notes)(right knee) and receiver Chansi Stuckey(notes) (hamstring) were inactive, but Wellsplayed after he was listed as questionable during the week with a hamstringinjury. Ben Graham(notes) was the punter for the Cardinals and Jeff King(notes) got the startin place of Heap at tight end.Follow Jon Krawczynski on Texans Jersey, Kenny Britt Jersey Authentic, Clinton Portis Jersey Authentic, wholesale jerseys china, Authentic Tennessee Titans Jersey, cheap nfl jerseys china, Colts Jersey, Authentic Washington Redskins Jersey, Official Seattle Seahawks Jersey, Dwight Freeney Jersey Authentic, Earl Thomas Authentic Jersey, Matt Schaub Jersey Authentic
